The design of one’s dream home should be a reflection of one’s lifestyle. Design should be created by functionality, practicality, and economic feasibility. The firm of D.A. Dale Building Designs listens to the clients’ needs in order to offer comprehensive residential design services and ongoing client support from the initial designs through the completion of construction.
Donald A. Dale is a life-long resident of Lancaster County and has worked in residential design since 1969. Following three years of employment for a local architectural firm and eight years for a general contractor, Don established D.A. Dale Building Designs in 1980. He is a member of the American Institute of Building Design (www.AIBD.org), has been certified by the National Council of Building Designers Certification (www.NCBDC.com) as a professional building designer since 1984, and was a 32-year member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Don has earned various awards and recognition at local, state, and national levels and has extensive experience in classical architecture, timber-frame structures, and historical preservation. Whether for remodeling, additions, or new homes, Don’s architectural knowledge and creativity are the standards for his designs.
Our goal: the clients’ satisfaction in the designs and the lifetime of enjoyment that a new home, addition, or renovation provides.
